Henrik Steffin was born in 1991 near Hamburg, Germany. His aptitude for painting became apparent early on. During his teenage years he began creating large-scale mural works with spray paint, a practice that gradually led him to oil painting. After completing school and a vocational apprenticeship, he studied at the Technical Art School in Hamburg. In addition to his artistic practice, Steffin works as an art director in various advertising and design agencies. He currently lives and works in Kiel, Germany.
